Conditions for activating and recharging a prepaid card

By activating your prepaid card, you use a prepaid plan Yettel along with the additional conditions upon activation and you have 3 BGN initial credit valid for 60 days after activation of the card.

If you are using prepaid plan Yettel, upon each top-up, you will use additional conditions, as follows ( valid from 01/03/2022 tо 31/03/2022) you get:

The national minutes included in the prepaid card as well as national minutes included in the add ons do not include outgoing calls to short numbers (including the Yettel Customer Service Center, numbers with *), to value-added services and other specialized services, to data and fax numbers, outgoing WAP calls.

The additional conditions - included minutes and MBs, which are received upon prepaid card top up during the specified period and can be used after a confirmation SMS is received, a fee is charged as indicated in the above table. The additional conditions are received by the user, and the fee is deducted from the available credit on the card upon each top up of the prepaid card.

The access to the Yettel 4G / LTE network in Bulgaria is possible in the areas with the coverage and with a compatible SIM card and device.

The provided minutes to numbers on the Yettel mobile network cannot be short numbers and value-added services.

Upon topping up the prepaid card and receiving additional conditions, the received new national and Yettel minutes and MB for browsing are added to the available minutes and / or MB of the same type and intended for use in the same area, whose validity has not expired at this time (if any). The validity date of all minutes and / or MB (available and new) becomes equal to the later of the two validity dates - the available or received new ones.

The validity of the following MB packages, activated for prepaid number: 1. Packages valid for simultaneous use in Bulgaria and in roaming, in the EU zone; 2. Packages valid for use in Bulgaria and; 3. packages valid for use only in roaming, in the EU area, do not accumulate, respectively they are used with their validity and conditions. Example:
A user buys a Prepaid Starter pack with an initial bonus of 4000 MB, valid for Bulgaria and the EU roaming zone (valid for 14 days), then immediately tops up with the amount of 10BGN and receives 3500 MB valid for Bulgaria and 2000 MB valid for the EU roaming zone (valid for 14 days).
- If the user is in Bulgaria, he will first start using the package with MB valid for shared use in Bulgaria and the EU roaming zone (4000 MB). Upon exhaustion of this package, if the validity period of 14 days has not expired, he will continue to use the package with MB valid for Bulgaria (3500 MB).
- If the user is in the EU roaming zone in the presence of the described packages, when using mobile internet from the prepaid number of the user, the package with MB valid for the EU roaming zone (2000 MB) will be used first, and after its consumption the package will be used. with MB valid for shared use in Bulgaria and EU roaming zone (4000MB), if the validity of 14 days has not expired.

All other services are charged as per the active Yettel pricelist for prepaid services.

Activation of Add-ons

•Upon add-on activation with included minutes or at a special price for call, the provision of the additional conditions upon credit top up of the prepaid card is suspended and only the conditions of the Yettel Standard prepaid plan are applied. Available minutes, SMS and MBs of the prepaid card (if any) are retained for the duration of their validity.

•Upon add-ons activation for Mobile Internet or add-ons Roam&Surf, the additional top up conditions will continue to be provided. The available minutes and SMS of the prepaid card (if any) are retained for the duration of their availability.

Pricing principle

Tariff of calls and SMS

•Tariffing of national and international calls takes places at intervals of 60 seconds, each started 60 second interval is being counted and charged as a full minute
•Depending on the alphabet used, the length of one SMS (including punctuation marks and spaces) varies between 160 characters only in Latin or up to 70 characters in another alphabet, including Cyrillic alphabet. For more information read here.
•For calls and SMS in roaming, including roaming in zone EU, charging is based on standard prices in roaming and the current Roaming Regulation in the European Union area.

Tariffing of internet traffic and access to 4G/ LTE network

•For data transfer in the country and usage of the provided / included MB, the tariffing is accurate to 1 KB, with a minimum initial charge of 100 KB (1 GB = 1024 MB, 1 MB = 1024 KB).
•If there is generated Internet traffic in roaming apart from the included in the additional conditions or add-ons, charging and pricing will be done as per active Standard prices in roaming and the current Roaming regulation in the EU area for all prepaid cards, or under the conditions of additional Roam&Surf, packages if such a package is purchased.
•Access to Yettel 4G/LTE network
•The initially included 8000MB in the prepaid pack upon activation will be used in the Yettel mobile network (via APN telenorbg) at maximum speed 2G/3G and 4G/LTE standard of the network. They are valid in the territory of Republic of Bulgaria.
•Usage of 4G/LTE Yettel network is possible with compatible SIM card and device in the areas with 4G coverage
•The access to Yettel 4G / LTE network in Bulgaria, upon card activation, can be extended by one of the following actions performed during the validity period of the MBs with 4G access:
-Top up with credit to receive bonuses upon recharge – MB for usage in Bulgaria and MB for usage in roaming zone EU
or
-Activation of add-on with included MBs for browsing in Bulgaria and roaming in the EU zone or add on with included MB for usage in Bulgaria and MB for usage in roaming zone EU, if 4G / LTE access is provided.
The period of validity of the access to Yettel 4G / LTE network equals to the greater of the two validity periods – the one of the newly activated on package or the current one.
•In the event that the above actions are not performed, Internet traffic is only performed over the Yettel mobile network (through APN telenorbg) at maximum speed only according to the 2G / 3G network standard and is valid for usage in the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and in roaming in EU zone.
•The Internet traffic is used through Yettel's 2G / 3G and 4G / LTE network with maximum achievable download and upload speed according to the network's 2G / 3G and 4G / LTE standard and is valid for use in Bulgaria and / or the EU area, depending on used package. The use of Yettel's 4G / LTE network by prepaid users is possible with a compatible SIM card with a device in the coverage area of the 4G network.
