The maximum download speed in the UMTS/HSPA network is up to 21 Mbps; the maximum upload speed is 5.76 Mbps.
After successfully completed tests, Yettel will be the first Bulgarian mobile operator to offer data transfer speed of up to 21 Mbps in its 3G network via the High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) technology. This is two times faster than the maximum speed offered by the other mobile networks in the country.
UMTS/HSPA+, or the so-called 3G+ (Super 3G), offers also speed of over 40 Mbps for download and over 10 Mbps for upload.
