GLOBUL was Golden Sponsor of the 10th edition of Junior Achievement Bulgaria’s Best Student Company contest, held on May 31 in Sofia. More than 40 student companies which took part in this years competition ‘presented their achievements in the fields of economics and business.

GLOBUL CEO Mr. Thanasis Katsiroubas presented the Grand Prize for the 2007 Best Student Company in Bulgaria to JA Experts. The company was established in 2006 by students of the Hristo Botev High School of Architecture & Construction in Sofia. The company trades in work wear and construction works accessories.

“Timely education in best management practices will assist Bulgaria’s new generations for the business challenges of tomorrow. It will also offer skilled managers that will lead the country’s economy to success”, commented Mr. Katsiroubas.

JA Experts will represent Bulgaria at the upcoming Junior Achievement – Young Enterprise Europe contest to be held in Berlin in the end of July 2007. GLOBUL will support the participation of the Bulgarian contestants and this will give them an opportunity to test their skills against their counterparts from other European countries.

JA Experts’ President Petar Stoyanov (17) said: “This prize will help us boost our efforts to realize our dreams. It is a worthy appraisal of our work and give us hope that there is room for us, the young professionals, in Bulgarian business“.

Junior Achievement – Young Enterprise Europe contest, co-organized by DG Enterprise and EU Commission, is the biggest annual event for student companies in Europe.
