Telenor’s Digital Scouts goes to TEEN BOOM FEST in Burgas

Telenor Bulgaria will support the youth festival as a general partner and will surprise the festival visitors with interesting online safety activities

Telenor Bulgaria and its Digital Scouts campaign are taking part in the summer festival TEEN BOOM FEST, which will be held on August 21 and 22 at the Marine Station in Burgas.

For the two days of the festival Digital Scouts will provide the guests of the event with a lot of additional surprises and adventures to show them that online browsing can be safe, as long as "You know before you scroll", which is the motto of the campaign this summer.

”TEEN BOOM FEST is an event with an exceptional charge. Young people think digitally, and it is important to develop their communication skills in a safe environment. We are thankful for the Telenor Bulgaria and the Digital Scouts support of the festival", the Municipality of Burgas representative said.

Telenor Bulgaria is going to be positioned with two tents. One will be designed for all children and young people and will include interesting activities, some of which are a special photo wall and Instagram challenge.Damyan Diamandiev, better known as Haha.bg on social media, will also attend the Telenor Digital Scouts tent as a guest with special surprises prepared for all people on site.

Telenor will have another tent for the parents. There they will learn useful information about online security as well as about Telenor’s services Online Protection and Parental Control which are an additional asset for the parents to feel secure about their children online presence.

TEEN BOOM FEST 2021 is also dedicated to online safety. During the same weekend, young people from all over the country will also have the opportunity to participate in the Digital Scouts game app, solving various practical situations related to online threats, and win amazing prizes. The application is free and available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
