GLOBUL SUPPORTS START OF DMS - UNIFORM CHARITY NUMBER IN BULGARIA

Bulgarian donors' forum and Bulgarian Charities Aid Foundation announced today the start of DMS in Bulgaria – uniform system for donations via SMS and phone calls. Project partners are GLOBUL, vivatel, BTC and TERACOMM.

DMS is a system with registered trade mark, developed for a first time in Czech Republic and which starting this year will be implemented in Bulgaria too. DMS is carried into effect by Bulgarian donors' forum and Bulgarian Charities Aid Foundation. This partnership project makes possible donations via SMS by GLOBUL and vivatel subscribers in Bulgaria and via phone calls by BTC subscribers.

DMS advantages are indubitable for companies, non-governmental organizations and public authorities, but at first place for the end “consumers” of the charity initiatives. DMS imposes uniform number for all charity campaigns and for all participating mobile operators, thus introducing unified criteria for access by organizations and institutions. DMS guarantees feedback to donors about funds collected and the amount spent and imposes unified price for donation SMS and phone call, which is equal for all campaigns and participating operators. DMS gives legitimate NGOs and public institutions in Bulgaria the opportunity to raise funds for charity via one of the easiest ways for donations - short text messages and phone calls.

DMS is a registered trade mark, developed in Czech Republic, by Czech donors' forum, Vodafone, Telefonica and T-Mobile. DMS is carried into effect in Bulgaria by Bulgarian donors' forum and Bulgarian Charities Aid Foundation.
