Michaela Kalaidjieva is the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Yettel Bulgaria. Leading the teams responsible for legal, privacy, and regulatory affairs, she also plays a crucial role in building sustainable relationships with the government, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
Since 2021, Kalaidjieva has been responsible for and a major driver of the telecom's sustainability policies. In 2022, Yettel announced its five-year sustainability strategy, comprising specific and measurable goals that are focused on four key areas: environmental protection, putting people at the centre of the company's operations, accelerating technology for a sustainable future, and governance based on integrity and transparency.
Michaela Kalaidjieva has over 20 years of experience in law, regulation and telecommunications. She was part of the management team of Cosmo Bulgaria Mobile (2001 - 2008), Bulgarian Telecommunications Company (2008 - 2013), as well as legal and regulatory advisor to other companies in the telecom sector. In 2019 she joined Yettel Bulgaria (then Telenor Bulgaria), where she still holds the position of Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and is part of the leadership team.
