Spas Velinov

Spas Velinov is the Chief Technology Officer of Yettel Bulgaria since June 2020. He leads the company's teams responsible for technology development and innovation.

Spas is a proven telecommunications professional with nearly 25 years of industry experience. The majority of his career has been dedicated to Yettel, where he has held several leadership roles in technology planning and network build-out. Most recently, he served as the Director of Procurement and Logistics.

He has also played a pivotal role in some of the most complex transformation projects in the company's history, such as the network modernization (2014) and the establishment of Yettel Common Operation in Bulgaria (2016).

Spas Velinov is a graduate of the Technical University of Sofia and holds a CMI Diploma, Level 7 in Strategic Management and Leadership, as well as an MSc in Management from the University of Sheffield. Spas is the first Chief Technology Officer to be promoted as an internal candidate for the organisation.
